About this fabric

Woven at 300gsm, Martello Antique has the substance to work across both upholstery and drapery. The close plain weave is visibly enlivened by fine vertical and horizontal threads, giving the otherwise pattern-free surface a tactile, lightly crosshatched character. Its antique ochre tone is subdued rather than bright, with darker brown flecks and softly uneven shading adding depth. The fabric has a 144cm usable width, a 40m standard length and no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat.

How to use it

Pair this muted ochre-brown with chalky creams, tobacco leather and softened olive for a warm, collected scheme. Its quiet texture also suits full-length curtains where the earthy tone can read deeper in folds.
