Martello Cinnamon has a warm, earthy cinnamon-brown ground with subtle tonal variation across its fine, irregular woven surface. The close-up reveals a softly tactile crosshatched texture rather than a distinct printed motif.

About this fabric

Woven at 300 gsm, Martello Cinnamon has enough visual substance for upholstery while remaining suitable for drapery, making it a versatile mid-weight textile. Its cinnamon tone sits between russet and tan, with lighter threads catching across the surface to create gently mottled depth. The design has no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, so the textured ground can be positioned freely. It is supplied at a 144 cm usable width, with a standard length of 40 metres.

How to use it

Pair this warm cinnamon-brown colourway with oat, aged cream and dark timber for a grounded scheme, or use it on a statement chair to bring heat to a cooler neutral room. Its understated texture also works well on relaxed curtains where the changing light can pick out the lighter woven threads.

Use this warm cinnamon tone to add depth to relaxed upholstery, cushions or softly tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
