About this fabric

This Clarke & Clarke fabric has a 138 cm usable width and a 350 gsm weight, giving the textile a substantial feel suited to upholstery. The design repeats every 32.5 cm vertically and 34.5 cm horizontally, creating a lively but controlled distribution of irregular charcoal, grey and pale ivory strokes across the beige ground. Close up, the surface appears nubby and uneven, with darker flecks breaking through the warmer tan tones rather than forming a crisp, graphic motif. The 40 m standard length is practical for coordinating larger upholstery requirements.

How to use it

Use Dipinto Charcoal on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its warm beige base can soften timber and leather, while the charcoal marks tie in with darker metal or painted details.
