About this fabric

This 435gsm woven fabric has a substantial visual presence, with charcoal columns broken by distressed grey and chalky ivory marks. The softly irregular vertical pattern repeat is 62cm, while the horizontal repeat is 34cm, giving the design a measured but non-uniform rhythm. With a usable width of 137cm, it is well suited to upholstered seating and other projects where the vertical direction can be used to emphasise form. The standard length is 40m, providing useful scope for coordinated upholstery requirements.

How to use it

Use Effetto Charcoal on a tailored sofa, armchair or headboard where its charcoal depth can anchor a scheme. Pair it with warm ivory, pale stone and brushed metal to pick up the lighter vertical strokes without losing the colourway’s cool, atmospheric character.
