Ada Charcoal

Vintage FabricCCF0582-02

Ada Charcoal presents a cool charcoal-grey ground covered with tightly drawn paisley and scrolling motifs in a pale silver-grey tone. The intricate pattern creates a softly textured, layered appearance as the lighter detailing catches against the darker background.

About this fabric

This 207 gsm fabric has a refined mid-weight handle suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. Its ornate repeat measures 67 cm vertically by 34 cm horizontally, giving the compact paisley arrangement a consistent rhythm across the cloth. The charcoal base reads deep and muted rather than stark black, while the pale pattern traces curls, teardrops and fine flourishes across the surface. With a usable width of 136 cm and a standard length of 40 m, it offers practical coverage for coordinated room schemes.

How to use it

Use Ada Charcoal to upholster a statement armchair or dining seat where its cool, detailed pattern can add depth without bright colour. Pair it with soft grey, aged silver and warm charcoal accents, or use it as structured curtains against a lighter neutral wall.

A cool charcoal ground and fine pale paisley detailing bring refined pattern to upholstery, curtains and cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
