Ada Midnight

Vintage FabricCCF0582-05

Ada Midnight presents a pale, cool blue-grey ground covered with an intricate tonal paisley pattern. Fine curling motifs create a softly textured, almost silvery surface rather than the deep navy suggested by its name.

About this fabric

The densely arranged paisleys are picked out in subtly darker blue-grey lines, giving the design definition while keeping the overall effect calm and finely balanced. At 207gsm, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suitable for both upholstery and drapery applications. It has a 136cm usable width, with a 67cm vertical repeat and 34cm horizontal repeat to consider when matching the pattern. The standard length is 40 metres.

How to use it

Use Ada Midnight to bring a cool, quietly patterned note to a pale sitting room, where its blue-grey tone can sit alongside chalky whites, soft greys and washed timber. Its detailed repeat also suits tailored curtains, occasional chairs and cushions that need pattern without strong contrast.

Its cool blue-grey ground and finely drawn paisley make it a refined choice for tailored upholstery, curtains or coordinating cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ada Midnight without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
