About this fabric

Kelsea Shell Pink from Colefax and Fowler is a 147cm-wide fabric woven in 51% linen, 32% viscose, 9% cotton and 8% polyester. The surface has a fine, dry-luxury texture with a small herringbone effect that sits neatly across the cloth, while the vertical repeat is 0cm and the horizontal repeat is approximately 3cm. This colourway is a muted shell pink with beige and linen undertones, so it looks warmer and softer than a clean blush and catches the light with a gentle matte sheen. The result is a restrained, refined fabric that feels tailored but still soft in mood. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √CH are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use it on a neat sofa, bedroom chairs or roman blinds where the small-scale pattern can add texture without overpowering the room. Its quiet shell pink tone works especially well with chalk white, pale oak and warm stone finishes.

A pale shell pink herringbone that feels fresh on upholstery and quietly elegant on drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
