Kelsea Red
Kelsea FabricF4673-06
Kelsea Red shows a tightly worked herringbone stripe in a warm terracotta-red palette, softened by lighter linen-toned threads. The effect is tailored and textural, with enough movement to keep the surface from reading flat.

About this fabric
Kelsea Red from Colefax and Fowler is a fabric with a small, regular zigzag weave and a clearly visible herringbone rhythm across the cloth. The 51% linen, 32% viscose, 9% cotton and 8% polyester composition helps give it a slightly dry, woven handle with a softer lustre in the lighter threads. At approximately 147cm wide, it is a practical mid-width for both upholstery and curtains, while the vertical repeat is 0cm and the horizontal repeat is approximately 3cm, so the pattern runs as a neat, continuous stripe. The colourway itself reads as a muted terracotta red with brown undertones, giving it warmth without becoming overly bright or glossy. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √CH are supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use Kelsea Red on a chair, ottoman or bench where the fine herringbone can add structure without overpowering the room. Its earthy red tone works especially well with oak, aged brass and neutral linens.
A warm terracotta herringbone that adds tailored character to upholstery or curtains.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Kelsea Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
