Quinton Blue

Kelsea FabricF4672-05

Quinton Blue presents a quiet, linear stripe with a washed blue-grey character against a pale ground. The effect is crisp but softened by the slubby linen blend, giving the surface a gently worn, textural feel.

About this fabric

This Kelsea fabric is composed of 78% Linen, 14% Viscose, 5% Polyester and 3% Acrylic, with an approximate width of 140cm and a vertical repeat of 5cm. The weave shows fine, evenly spaced blue-grey lines running across a warm off-white ground, creating a restrained striped rhythm rather than a bold contrast. The linen content gives the cloth a slightly dry, natural handle, while the viscose and synthetics help the surface read a little smoother and more stable. With its smart but understated colouring, Quinton Blue feels calm and tailored rather than bright or nautical.

How to use it

Use it on a tailored armchair, bench seat or roman blind where the soft blue-grey stripe can add structure without dominating the room. It pairs well with chalky whites, weathered oak and deeper navy accents.

A refined blue-grey stripe that works neatly on tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
