About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Oscar Lie de Vin has a dry, natural handle that is visible in the small, even texture across the cloth. The shade is a deep berry red with a hint of claret, richer and darker than a bright crimson, so it feels composed rather than flashy. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, the design is plain enough to let the colour and weave take centre stage. The 142cm approx width makes it practical for both upholstery and drapery projects, while the C 8 + T 3 care code and √BM fire code give it the expected library specification for residential use.

How to use it

Use this colourway to bring warmth to clean-lined seating, or pair it with walnut, bronze and ivory for a tailored, modern scheme. It also works well as curtains where the deep red can add depth without needing pattern.

A rich linen in a jewel-toned red that works beautifully for tailored upholstery or understated curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
