About this fabric

From the Tarn collection by Colefax and Fowler, Iver Forest is a 142cm-wide fabric composed of 54% linen, 43% viscose and 3% polyester. The weave appears fine and even, with a lightly slubbed linen character softened by the viscose blend. In this colourway, the shade reads as a muted sage green with a cool, airy cast rather than a deep forest tone. The small-scale surface texture catches the light gently, which helps the cloth feel calm and lived-in without looking flat.

How to use it

Use this soft sage tone to lift neutral upholstery, especially alongside limestone, oak and pale painted wood. It also works well for relaxed curtains where the muted green can sit quietly against both warm and cool room schemes.

A quietly versatile sage that reads fresh on curtains and calm on upholstered pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
