About this fabric

This Tarn colourway has a calm, airy look, with the blue sitting low and muted beneath a lightly speckled weave. The cloth is a versatile 143cm wide and is composed of 40% linen, 30% viscose, 20% wool and 10% polyester, giving it a natural-looking handle with a soft, tailored finish. The repeat is straight at V 0cm / H 0cm approx, so the interest comes from the texture and colour depth rather than pattern. The surface feels relaxed and slightly weathered, with the cooler blue threads softened by pale grey and chalky white notes.

How to use it

Use it where you want a gentle, coastal blue that won’t dominate a room, such as upholstered armchairs, loose covers or simple curtains. It pairs particularly well with limed woods, soft white paint and brushed metals.
