About this fabric

This colourway reads as a very pale, muted blue, softened by the linen and viscose blend so the surface feels fresh rather than icy. The weave shows a fine, even texture with a faint slub effect, which keeps the cloth from looking flat while still remaining understated. With a width of approximately 142cm and no repeat, Tarn is an easy choice for streamlined schemes where a calm plain fabric is needed. The composition of 54% linen, 43% viscose and 3% polyester gives it the natural look of linen with a smoother, more polished finish.

How to use it

Use Iver Old Blue for relaxed curtains, tailored cushions or a simple upholstered headboard where a pale blue ground will lift darker woods. It pairs especially well with white paint, weathered oak and soft grey textiles.

A calm pale blue with a lightly slubbed linen look that works across classic and contemporary schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
