Sebastian Beige

Tarn FabricF4803-04

Sebastian Beige shows a fine all-over geometric pattern softened by a warm beige ground and tiny blue-green accents. The effect is quietly detailed, with the motif reading as a gentle texture from a distance.

About this fabric

This woven fabric has a compact diamond repeat with a softly mottled beige ground and pinprick blue-green centres that give the surface a restrained, lived-in character. The composition combines 35% viscose, 33% linen, 13% polyester, 11% wool, 4% cotton and 4% polyamide, giving the cloth a natural-looking body with a slightly crisp, tailored finish. At approximately 138cm wide, it is a practical width for upholstery or drapery applications, depending on the project. The small repeat, around V 10cm and H 12cm, keeps the pattern ordered and easy to place across larger pieces while still adding visual interest. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for specification purposes.

How to use it

Use Sebastian Beige on a pair of club chairs, a window seat or tailored curtains where the warm beige ground can lift a room without overpowering it. Its soft blue accents sit especially well with faded painted wood, stone, oatmeal linens and muted indigo.

A muted beige ground with tiny blue-green highlights that keeps the pattern subtle and refined.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sebastian Beige without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
