Sebastian Leaf Green
Tarn FabricF4803-03
Sebastian Leaf Green has a quiet, leafy freshness, with a softly aged green ground and a tiny geometric pattern that reads almost woven into the cloth. The effect is calm and detailed rather than bold, giving the swatch a tailored, understated character.

About this fabric
This Fabric from Colefax and Fowler’s Tarn collection has a small diamond repeat, measuring approximately V 10cm and H 12cm, with a width of about 138cm. The composition blends 35% viscose, 33% linen, 13% polyester, 11% wool, 4% cotton and 4% polyamide, which helps explain the cloth’s lightly textured, refined handle. In this colourway the green is softened with a pale, chalky cast, so the motif sits gently against the background instead of reading high-contrast. Fine pinkish and neutral notes within the weave add warmth and keep the overall effect from feeling too cool or hard. It feels like a versatile decorative fabric rather than a flat plain, with enough visual interest for close-up use.
How to use it
Use Sebastian Leaf Green on a neatly upholstered armchair, dining seats or a headboard where its small repeat can be appreciated up close. It also works well in curtains or Roman blinds when you want a muted green with enough pattern to lift a calm interior.
A refined small-scale pattern that suits tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sebastian Leaf Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
