Chamois

Natural Berber Twist Carpet

Chamois reads as a light, warm beige, with subtle oatmeal, honey and darker flecks scattered through its softly textured surface. The close-up reveals a dense, nubby twist that gives this carpet gentle tonal depth.

About this fabric

The colour is a sandy chamois beige rather than a cool cream, with small warm flecks adding a naturally mottled appearance. Its close-up texture shows irregular loops and a compact, tactile grain instead of a printed motif. As a Wool Twist carpet, it has a substantial, softly springy character suited to flooring. The low-contrast colouring lets the textured surface provide quiet dimension without becoming visually busy.

How to use it

Use Chamois to bring warmth beneath pale timber, chalky walls or natural linen, where its sandy beige tone can soften a room without reading yellow. Its flecked surface also works well alongside understated woven textures and warm neutral furnishings.

A warm chamois beige with softly flecked texture for calm, tactile interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
