Shadow

Primo Ultra Carpet

Shadow is a warm mushroom-grey carpet with a finely mottled surface that gives the colour gentle depth. Its close, even texture reads softly rather than starkly under changing light.

About this carpet

The dense surface is made up of tiny mixed grey, taupe and muted brown flecks, creating a calm, softly weathered appearance rather than a flat block colour. The short pile has a close, tactile texture visible across the swatch, with no repeating motif or directional pattern. Catalogued as an Easy Clean carpet, Shadow offers a practical specification alongside its understated appearance. Its warm grey tone brings more softness than a cool charcoal, making the shade feel grounded and quietly comfortable.

How to use it

Use Shadow where a warm grey foundation is needed to balance cream upholstery, natural timber and muted taupe accents. The fine tonal variation helps conceal visual uniformity while keeping a room calm and restrained.

A softly mottled mushroom-grey carpet with a grounded, quietly textured look for understated interiors.

Pairs well with

Shadow is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
