Riva Carpet

Aniseed brings a pale oat-beige tone to Cormar’s Riva collection, with a close, softly irregular surface visible across the swatch. Its gentle greige cast keeps the colour muted rather than yellow or strongly cream.

About this fabric

Catalogued as Soft Deep Pile, Aniseed has a dense, tactile face made up of tiny softly raised fibres and understated tonal flecks. The pale beige colour shifts subtly between warm oat and cool greige as the pile catches the light, giving the surface quiet depth without a printed motif. This is a calm, low-contrast colourway whose texture provides the visual interest. As a carpet, it brings a softly cushioned, substantial look to the floor while retaining an understated appearance.

How to use it

Use Aniseed as a light, tonal foundation with chalky walls, natural timber and softly upholstered pieces in oatmeal or warm grey. Its muted oat-beige depth is especially suited to relaxed rooms where texture matters more than contrast.

A soft oat-beige ground with deep texture, suited to relaxed, tonal interiors and tactile upholstery details.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
