EXT2559

Extravaganza FabricEXT2559

EXT2559 pairs an ivory-cream velvet ground with a softly contrasting taupe-grey maze motif. Its short, textured pile gives the angular pattern a gently softened finish rather than a stark graphic edge.

About this fabric

The design is formed from repeating interlocking Greek-key shapes, with taupe-grey lines winding across the pale cream background in a medium-scale geometric layout. This velvet is 138cm wide and made from 48% polyester, 48% viscose and 4% cotton. It is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery, with professional aftercare required. The fabric meets Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

The warm ivory base works well on a statement chair, headboard or sofa where the taupe-grey pattern can sit alongside natural wood, stone and muted beige upholstery. Keep surrounding fabrics quiet to let the maze-like geometry remain the focal point.

Use the warm ivory ground and softened taupe-grey geometry to bring tailored pattern to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
