About this fabric

This chenille is woven in a dusty raspberry-red tone, with subtle darker and lighter vertical movement visible across the face of the fabric. The 85% polyester and 15% viscose composition forms a closely textured surface, while the 138cm width makes it practical for upholstery projects. It is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery and is machine washable for straightforward aftercare. Flame retardancy is Domestic Cig & Match, with the option to treat it to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Pair this muted raspberry red with warm neutrals, smoked timber and aged brass to create an inviting upholstery scheme. Its softly striated surface works particularly well on sofas, armchairs and dining seats where the colour can read as rich without appearing highly saturated.

Use this muted raspberry-red chenille to bring warm, softly varied colour to upholstered seating and occasional chairs.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
