About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester chenille, this 138cm-wide colourway has a close, granular texture with tiny interlaced flecks that soften its terracotta base. The shade sits between muted clay and dusty rose, with lighter threads catching across the surface and preventing the colour from appearing flat or overly saturated. Rated for contract and domestic upholstery, it is suitable for upholstered seating and other hard-working interior applications. UFF3577 is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy; it can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this dusty terracotta rose on a reading chair, sofa or upholstered headboard to introduce a warm clay note without the intensity of a bright red. Pair it with chalky neutrals, aged timber and soft stone shades to bring out the chenille’s lighter woven flecks.

A warm, softly mottled chenille for upholstered seating, bringing muted terracotta depth without a bold motif.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
