About this fabric

The close-up shows a compact micro-herringbone texture, with teal and charcoal yarns creating subtle depth rather than a flat block of colour. Its cool blue-green tone reads clean and contemporary, while the dark interwoven detail gives the shade added weight and definition. Made from 100% polyester and supplied at 138cm wide, this chenille is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, with the option to treat it to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this deep, cool teal on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its charcoal fleck can connect with dark metal, graphite upholstery and pale natural wood. It also works well as a confident colour accent against warm neutrals without losing its crisp blue-green character.

Use this cool deep teal with charcoal, pale timber and brushed metal for a crisp, contemporary upholstery scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
