About this colour
This shade reads as a softened green-beige, with enough green in it to feel considered and enough warmth to stop it feeling chilly. On a wall it takes the edge off bright light and keeps a room looking even rather than sharp. In a north-facing room it can lean more muted and slightly grey-green, while in south light the warm beige note comes forward and the colour feels gentler and fuller. It sits well beside pale oak, aged brass, cream-painted joinery and upholstery in flax, tobacco, moss and deep brown tones. In Flat Matt it will look the most restrained, while Eggshell and Soft Sheen will give the same colour a little more clarity on woodwork and cabinets.
How to use it
Use Grace & Favoured in a library, snug or bedroom where you want a colour that stays close to neutral but still has green depth. It works especially well with dark timber, polished oak, and upholstery in natural linen, olive, rust or inherited damson shades.
A muted green-beige that feels calm on walls and sits easily with woodwork.
