About this colour
This shade reads as a soft, slightly earthy green with enough grey in it to keep it restrained and usable across large areas. In north-facing light it can look cooler and more sage-like, while in south-facing rooms the warmer side of the colour comes forward and it feels fuller and more natural. Against pale woods, linen weaves and warm neutrals, Home Grown brings a grounded contrast; beside deeper browns it stays quiet and balanced rather than sharp. In Flat Matt or Claypaint it will feel most muted on walls, while Eggshell or Soft Sheen gives the same colour a neater look for woodwork and joinery.
How to use it
It suits living rooms, kitchens and hallways where you want a green that stays calm beside upholstered seating and curtains in oatmeal, stone or muted rust. It also works well on skirting, cabinetry and doors with natural oak or darker stained wood.
A quiet, grounded green that brings softness to walls and woodwork.
