Mansard
Greens Paint
Mansard is Coat Paints' muted green with a composed, earthy feel. It sits between sage and olive, bringing colour without pushing too bright or too grey.

About this colour
At #697A6C, Mansard reads as a mid-depth green with a clear grey note, so it feels steady rather than vivid. On walls it holds light well, but it does not bounce it around; the colour stays calm and slightly shaded. In a north-facing room it can lean cooler and more mossy, with the grey showing first. In south-facing light it warms up gently and the green feels fuller, making it a good partner for natural wood, oak cabinetry, linen-toned curtains, and upholstered pieces in tobacco, oatmeal, or soft charcoal. In Flat Matt it will feel most reserved, while Eggshell, Soft Sheen, and Floor Paint give the same shade a little more practical depth on joinery or floors.
How to use it
Mansard suits a sitting room, study, or hallway where you want colour that sits quietly behind the furniture. It works well with painted woodwork in off-white, dark timber, and upholstery in camel, mushroom, or muted patterning.
A grounded green that looks calm on the wall and easy to live with.
