Jaipur Linen is shown here in a warm taupe-beige colourway, with a softly flecked ground and a pale geometric band running through the centre. The woven surface gives the shade gentle depth rather than a flat, uniform appearance.

About this fabric

This colourway combines a muted taupe-beige ground with an ivory-toned geometric motif of interlocking diamonds and angular marks. Small tonal flecks and irregular woven details soften the pattern, while the central vertical band gives the swatch a clear sense of rhythm. The overall effect is warm, quiet and tactile, with the pale motif catching the light subtly against the deeper neutral ground. No further performance or specification data has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the warm taupe base to bring softness to a neutral seating scheme, pairing it with chalky whites, natural timber and warm stone. The restrained contrast also works well on cushions or relaxed curtains where the central geometric detail can be appreciated without dominating the room.

Its softly mottled taupe ground and pale geometric band suit relaxed upholstery, cushions or understated curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
