About this fabric

The colour reads as cool, inky navy rather than bright or saturated blue, with lighter threads interrupting the depth of the ground. Its dense weave is visibly substantial, while the short horizontal flecks create a restrained, tactile pattern instead of a regular motif. The variation across the surface allows the navy tone to shift subtly between darker and softer blue as the texture catches the light. No composition, width, rub test or performance information has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Kantha Blue on a tailored armchair, sofa or headboard where its cool navy depth can anchor a room. Pair it with chalky whites, pale timber and brushed metal to pick up the lighter flecks without competing with the weave.

A dense navy weave with pale flecks, suited to upholstery where its subtle horizontal texture can add depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
