Lettere Persiane Indigo

Printed fabrics Fabric002

Lettere Persiane Indigo combines a near-black indigo ground with vivid turquoise architectural forms and curling ornamental motifs. Olive-green and ivory accents pick out the design, giving this colourway a cool, jewel-like depth.

About this fabric

The visible pattern is large in scale, with pointed, column-like shapes framing elongated curling forms and a central pendant motif. Turquoise provides the clearest lift against the dense indigo background, while muted olive and warm ivory add layered contrast. The surface appears finely textured rather than flat, allowing the dark ground and coloured details to read with subtle depth. No composition, width, rub test or additional performance specification is supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the cool indigo ground as a dramatic anchor for a reading chair, sofa or full-length curtains, then echo the turquoise in painted cabinetry or glazed ceramics. Ivory and olive accents can soften the contrast without losing the colourway’s rich, graphic character.

A deep indigo ground gives the ornate turquoise, olive and ivory motifs a richly dramatic presence on upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
