Kolymbetra Blue

Fabrics Fabric100

Kolymbetra Blue pairs a warm cream ground with dense ink-blue marks that read like a collage of botanical curls, broken grids and hand-drawn symbols. Its lightly textured surface gives the high-contrast pattern a softened, tactile finish rather than a flat printed appearance.

About this fabric

The design is distributed in medium-scale clusters, with curling foliage-like forms sitting alongside short horizontal bars, loose geometric fragments and irregular scribbled lines. Against the cream background, the blue remains cool and deep, while the broken edges and visible surface texture prevent it from feeling stark. The cloth appears to be a versatile mid-weight textile, making it suitable for either upholstery or drapery. No performance features or further specification data are supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Bring Kolymbetra Blue into a room with warm ivory, pale timber or soft grey upholstery to echo its cream ground and temper the inky pattern. It can also work as statement curtains, where the scattered motifs will read as a richly textured blue-and-cream field.

Use the cool ink-blue pattern on its cream ground to add graphic character to upholstered seating, cushions or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
