About this fabric

The swatch combines a saturated navy base with narrow pale bars arranged into small rectangular checks and basket-like intersections. Its close-set pattern gives the surface a tailored, ordered character, while the woven construction creates subtle variation between the dark and light threads. The visible structure reads as a substantial upholstery textile rather than a fine, fluid cloth. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the cool depth of Kelso Navy to anchor a reading chair, sofa or headboard, balancing it with chalky neutrals, light oak or warm brass. Its small-scale grid is particularly effective where a patterned upholstery is wanted without overwhelming the room.

Use this deep navy geometric weave on an upholstered chair, sofa or headboard, pairing it with pale timber and brushed metal for contrast.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
