About this fabric

The dense-looking woven face is dominated by cool navy and blue-green tones, with ochre, mustard, rust, pink and coral accents bringing warmth to the design. Its large-scale composition combines a spotted giraffe with curling leaves and layered floral forms, so the imagery reads clearly even across the compact swatch. The colour balance feels deep and saturated rather than pale, with the warm animal motif standing out sharply against the blue background. No composition, width or rub-test data has been supplied for this fabric, and no performance features are noted.

How to use it

Use Kipling Blue on a statement armchair, headboard or occasional seat where its dark blue ground can frame the vivid giraffe and botanical motifs. Pair it with warm ochre, rust or muted pink accents to draw out the warmer notes without competing with the pattern.

Bring its deep blue ground and vivid animal-and-flower imagery into an eclectic or characterful upholstery scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
