Lantana Flower Blue

Fabrics Fabric100

Lantana Flower Blue combines deep navy-blue floral medallions with a pale blue-grey ground. The repeated rosette forms are softened by the fabric’s visibly nubby, tactile surface.

About this fabric

The cool navy motifs create a strong but softened contrast against the light blue-grey background. Large circular floral forms alternate with smaller rosette-like details, giving the repeat a measured, structured rhythm. Close up, the woven surface breaks up the pattern with small raised flecks and softened edges rather than a flat printed appearance. With its visibly substantial texture, this colourway reads particularly well as an upholstery fabric for seating where the floral repeat can be seen at close range.

How to use it

Pair the muted navy and pale blue tones with chalky whites, weathered timber and cool grey upholstery. It would bring pattern and texture to an occasional chair, headboard or compact bench without introducing a warm colour bias.

Use this cool, textured blue floral for upholstered chairs, benches or a statement occasional seat.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
