Tan Tan Grey is a softly restrained colourway, reading as pale greige with a cool grey cast across the swatch. Its fine vertical chevron structure adds a delicate, closely spaced rhythm without becoming visually busy.

About this fabric

The surface shows repeated narrow zigzag lines arranged in vertical columns, giving the cloth a subtle herringbone-like texture. Its pale grey-beige tone is muted rather than saturated, with the woven pattern appearing slightly darker where the light catches the diagonal threads. The compact visual scale makes the design easy to use across broader surfaces without overpowering the room. No composition, width, rub-test or performance-feature data was supplied for this textile.

How to use it

Use Tan Tan Grey where a light, quiet neutral is needed with more texture than a plain cloth, such as a softly tailored chair, roman blind or full-length curtain. Its greige-grey cast pairs naturally with chalky whites, pale timber and other cool neutrals.

Its quiet pale greige tone and fine chevron texture bring subtle structure to upholstered pieces, curtains or blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
