Alabastro Avorio

Jacquard fabrics Fabric002

Alabastro Avorio presents an airy ivory ground overlaid with irregular, marble-like bands in pale taupe. Its jacquard surface catches the light gently, giving the pattern subtle depth rather than a sharp contrast.

About this fabric

The design is formed from broad, fluid waves and finer rippling lines, creating a softly abstract pattern across the swatch. Warm ivory dominates the colourway, while pale taupe accents trace the irregular contours and lend the surface a gently aged, mineral quality. A restrained sheen moves across the woven texture as the light changes, giving this jacquard a quietly luxe character. No composition, width, rub-test or performance figures are supplied for this fabric, and no performance features are noted.

How to use it

Use Alabastro Avorio where a room needs luminosity without stark white: on a curved occasional chair, relaxed drapery or cushions paired with chalky stone, warm ivory and pale timber. Its low-contrast taupe movement works especially well with softly layered neutral schemes.

Use this softly lustrous ivory and taupe jacquard to bring a light, quietly opulent finish to upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
