About this fabric

The jacquard weave combines tobacco brown, warm cream, beige and charcoal-grey into a highly structured geometric composition. Broad horizontal bars, narrow repeated stripes and offset rectangular blocks create a layered, architectural rhythm across the cloth. The tobacco areas read warm and earthy, while the pale sections bring contrast and keep the dense pattern visually balanced. Its closely woven, substantial-looking surface makes this fabric particularly well suited to upholstery.

How to use it

Pair the warm tobacco tone with natural wood, dark bronze and pale stone, using the geometric design on a statement chair, headboard or occasional upholstered piece. Keep surrounding textiles quiet so the cream and charcoal blocks remain clearly defined.

Use the warm tobacco, cream and charcoal palette to bring an architectural, graphic accent to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Connections 1925/1983 Tabacco without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
