About this fabric

The small-scale design is formed from closely packed rectangular and stepped motifs, creating a rhythmic surface that reads almost like miniature basketry. In this Mordorè colourway, warm taupe and brown threads are deepened by charcoal accents, while lighter flecks catch across the pattern. The dense weave gives the swatch a substantial, textured appearance suited to upholstery. It is catalogued as a Fabric in Dedar’s Jacquard fabrics collection; no composition, width, rub test or performance feature has been supplied for this SKU.

How to use it

Use this warm, muted taupe-brown colourway on a tailored armchair, dining chair or compact sofa where its fine geometric texture can add depth without dominating the room. Pair it with charcoal, tobacco leather, aged timber or softly contrasting cream textiles.

A dense, finely patterned jacquard that brings warm taupe-brown depth to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Damaris Mordorè without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
