Jacquard fabrics Fabric001

Curiosity Argentato has a cool silver-taupe ground with a finely broken, all-over jacquard pattern. The close weave gives the swatch a softly mottled appearance, balancing pale silver highlights with deeper taupe threads.

About this fabric

This densely woven jacquard reads as a structured upholstery fabric, with a compact surface rather than a fluid or open drape. Its small-scale pattern is made from irregular interlocking marks, creating a subtle rhythm that becomes clearer at close range while retaining an even overall tone. The argentato colourway is muted and cool, with the light catching individual threads to lift the grey-taupe ground. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair the cool silver-taupe shade with chalky whites, pebble greys and dark walnut for a restrained, layered scheme. Its finely textured pattern is particularly suited to a tailored armchair, dining chair or compact sofa where the detail can be seen up close.

Use this cool silver-taupe jacquard to bring quietly detailed texture to tailored upholstery and occasional chairs.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Curiosity Argentato without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
