Cordier Lino

Sheer fabrics Fabric003

Cordier Lino has a warm taupe-beige tone and a visibly open, fine weave that gives the cloth a softly tactile surface. In the photograph, it falls into fluid folds while retaining a gently structured, net-like texture.

About this fabric

The close weave creates a small, even surface pattern rather than a printed motif, with pale taupe threads deepening to shadowed brown-grey in the folds. Its open construction and fluid drape make it best suited to curtains and other light-filtering window treatments rather than hard-wearing upholstery. The colour reads warm and natural in the light, with the raised weave catching highlights against the darker recesses of the fabric. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe colourway for full-length sheers in a calm, natural room, where its open weave can soften daylight without introducing a strong pattern. It would sit comfortably alongside chalky stone, oak, walnut and muted brown tones.

Its warm taupe tone and open texture suit softly gathered curtains where gentle light and natural texture are wanted.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
