Jacquard fabrics Fabric001

Hana-bi Bleuté combines a pale cream ground with a loose, painterly arrangement of cool blue lines and broken horizontal marks. Burgundy, coral and yellow accents give the surface a distinctive abstract rhythm.

About this fabric

The design is built from fine vertical blue and grey striations, overlaid with irregular horizontal strokes in deep burgundy, soft coral and muted yellow. The pale ground keeps the colourway light, while the burgundy marks add concentrated depth and contrast. Its visibly woven, jacquard-like surface gives the abstract brushwork a tactile, slightly textural character. No composition, width or rub-test specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway to bring a cool cream-and-blue foundation to a room, then pick up its burgundy marks in cushions, piping or painted furniture. Coral and yellow details can be echoed sparingly for a livelier scheme.

A pale, painterly jacquard with cool blue linear texture and lively burgundy, coral and yellow brush marks.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
