About this fabric

The swatch has an even, tightly packed weave that reads almost black at first glance, with charcoal detail becoming visible across the surface. Tiny intersecting threads create a subtle regular grain rather than a pronounced motif or pattern. The restrained tonal variation keeps the fabric looking smart and architectural, while the woven texture prevents the shade from appearing completely flat. Madeira Quasinero is catalogued in Dedar’s Upholstery fabrics collection.

How to use it

Use this deep charcoal-black colourway on a structured sofa, armchair or dining seat where its fine weave can add texture without introducing a visible pattern. Pair it with pale timber, warm stone or softly coloured textiles to keep the near-black tone balanced.

The dense, finely grained weave gives upholstery a tailored near-black finish with subtle surface depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
