Jacquard fabrics Fabric004

Métro Beaubourg Jazz presents a charcoal-black woven ground crossed by stepped, architectural lines in copper and soft ivory. The close texture gives the strong geometry a tactile, crafted finish.

About this fabric

This jacquard fabric is visually substantial, with a fine, closely packed weave that gives the black ground a softly ribbed surface. Interlocking right-angled bands create a large-scale geometric pattern, with copper-brown lines warming the otherwise cool charcoal field and ivory accents sharpening the design. No performance features are noted for this fabric, so its dense appearance and graphic character are the defining qualities to consider.

How to use it

Use this dark, linear colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard, balancing its copper and ivory tracery with warm wood, bronze metal and restrained natural tones.

Pair the graphic black ground with warm timber, bronze accents and quiet neutral upholstery for a considered modern scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
