Madeira Caffè

Upholstery fabrics Fabric001

Madeira Caffè has a deep coffee-brown ground, softened by a closely woven pattern of charcoal and lighter brown flecks. The compact surface gives the swatch a quietly dimensional, tailored appearance.

About this fabric

The colour reads as a warm, dark brown rather than a flat black, with subtle charcoal depth appearing through the dense weave. Tiny repeated woven marks create a fine peppered effect across the surface, while the close texture catches the light without becoming glossy. Its substantial-looking construction makes it especially suited to upholstery applications. This fabric is catalogued as a Fabric in Dedar’s Upholstery fabrics collection.

How to use it

Use Madeira Caffè on a sofa, armchair or dining chair where its coffee-brown tone can anchor lighter timber, stone and warm neutral schemes. The small-scale texture also works well on tailored cushions or a structured headboard.

Use this deep coffee-brown weave to bring tailored warmth and finely grained texture to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
