Sansone Zucca is shown in a saturated burnt-terracotta shade, with a quiet, even surface that lets the richness of the colour take the lead. Its soft velvet pile catches the light subtly across the swatch.

About this fabric

This colourway has a deep clay-orange tone, warmer and more burnished than a straightforward bright orange. The face is plain, with no visible motif, and the fine velvet surface gives the colour gentle tonal variation as the nap shifts. Its plush appearance and dense visual weight make it particularly suited to upholstery where the terracotta shade can become a strong focal point.

How to use it

Use Sansone Zucca on a curved chair, ottoman or headboard to bring a warm, enveloping terracotta note into the room. Pair it with chalky neutrals, dark timber or aged brass to balance its rich clay depth.

A warm burnt-terracotta velvet for upholstered seating, headboards and statement furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
