About this fabric

Printed on velvet, this Berry colourway combines raspberry and coral pink animals with cool blue birds, pale foliage and small cream motifs against a deep navy ground. The paired spotted cats, arched banner details and curling botanical forms create a dense, theatrical composition rather than an open floral pattern. At 286 gsm and 134 cm usable width, the supplied specification makes this a substantial velvet for upholstery projects. Its 62 cm vertical repeat and 67 cm horizontal repeat give the illustrated design a clearly considered, medium-scale rhythm, while the standard length is 40 m.

How to use it

Use the berry and pink accents to enliven a statement armchair, footstool or headboard, balancing the dark navy ground with navy-painted wood, ink walls or warm cream upholstery. The cool blue birds and small red details also work well as accent colours in cushions and trims.
