About this fabric

Woven in 100% BCI Cotton, Chelsea Navy has a neat, lightly striated surface that gives the plain cloth a subtle sense of movement. At 140cm wide with a 0cm pattern repeat, it is an uncomplicated specification for making up into simple curtains or clean-lined upholstery. The shade sits firmly in the darker end of the blue family, with a restrained, smart character rather than a bright or nautical feel. Its matt, close weave helps the navy look grounded and tailored, which suits both relaxed schemes and more formal interiors. Care instructions are AQW1<.

How to use it

Use this navy as a grounding solid beside white, parchment or pale oak, where its cool depth will sharpen the room without feeling harsh. It is especially effective on tailored chairs, cushion covers and simple drapery where the colour can read cleanly.
