About this fabric

This version of Florentina has a fresh duck-egg ground that reads light and slightly green, giving the larger scalloped blooms a crisp outline. The flower heads sit in layered blue-teal shading with a soft woven look, while the leaf sprigs are picked out in grey-brown and pale sage tones for a quieter contrast. With a width of 145cm and a 38cm pattern repeat, it is straightforward to plan for the repeated floral motif across seats, cushions or curtains. The 55% viscose, 25% cotton and 20% polyester composition suggests a cloth with some body and a refined surface rather than a flat print. Care code NQT1< should be followed as supplied.

How to use it

Its cool duck-egg ground works well with white, chalky grey and weathered oak, and the blue-green flowers make a calm feature on a pair of armchairs or full-length drapes. For a softer scheme, team it with pale linen textures and brushed metallics so the pattern can remain the focal point.

Use it for airy statement upholstery or curtains where the pale blue ground can keep the room feeling light.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Florentina Duck-Egg without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
