Zena Duck-Egg

Florentina Fabric

Zena Duck-Egg brings a cool, patterned zigzag rhythm in softened duck-egg teal, chalky ivory and muted taupe-brown. The woven surface gives the design a lightly textured, tailored feel.

About this fabric

Zena Duck-Egg from the Florentina collection by Fryett's Fabrics is a 145cm-wide fabric with a 20cm vertical repeat and 17.9cm horizontal repeat. Its 55% viscose, 25% cotton and 20% polyester composition gives the cloth a supple woven handle with a clear texture visible across the chevron stripes. In this colourway, the duck-egg teal appears fresh but gently muted, sitting against pale ivory grounds and darker taupe-brown accents for a cool, balanced contrast. The overall effect is orderly and decorative without feeling loud, with the weave adding enough surface interest for close-up upholstery work.

How to use it

Use it on an accent chair, ottoman or headboard where the duck-egg tones can soften sharper lines. It pairs neatly with whitewashed timber, pale grey paint and brushed brass for a fresh but composed room.

A crisp geometric that lifts pale wood and brushed metal finishes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
