About this fabric

This colourway shows a gentle contrast between the light background and the dappled charcoal foliage, giving the design a weathered, refined look. The woven surface has a relaxed textural depth that softens the repeat and keeps the leaves from feeling too crisp or graphic. Supplied at 140cm wide, with a 23.5cm vertical repeat and 24cm horizontal repeat, it suits projects where the pattern needs to flow neatly across larger spans. The composition of 79% Recycled Polyester and 21% Polyester gives the cloth a practical, upholstery-friendly handle, while the NQT1 care code should be checked before cleaning. The muted grey palette makes this a versatile choice when you want pattern and movement but still need an understated finish.

How to use it

Use it on a statement armchair, occasional sofa or tailored curtains where the soft charcoal leaf trail can bring depth to a neutral scheme. It works especially well with stone, putty and aged oak tones.

A muted charcoal leaf motif on a pale ground that adds quiet structure without feeling heavy.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Mayfair Charcoal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
