About this fabric

This plain fabric from the Magma collection by Fryett's Fabrics has a fine, lightly textured appearance that lets the indigo tone hold centre stage. The 59% cotton and 41% polyester composition gives it a balanced handle that suits both upholstery and drapery use, while the 140cm width makes it practical for a wide range of projects. Its surface shows gentle horizontal striations and subtle variation in the weave, which keeps the colour from looking flat. The overall effect is smart and restrained, with a deeper, duskier character than a brighter blue.

How to use it

Use this indigo shade on an upholstered chair or sofa to bring depth without heaviness, or hang it as curtains where the colour can soften in changing light. It pairs especially well with pale woods, crisp white, or warm brass accents.
