About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is composed of 78% polyester and 22% cotton, with a 140cm width and a 9cm pattern repeat. The colourway shows a deep, wine-red ground with soft crimson variation, crossed by slim pale stripes and darker overchecks that sharpen the tartan effect. It reads warm rather than bright, with a dense, even finish that keeps the pattern looking neat and tailored. The check is bold enough to bring structure to a room, while the cotton blend stops the red from feeling too glossy or hard. Care code BQV1< is supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this red check with dark timber, saddle leather, and cream-painted walls for a traditional look. It also works well on statement cushions or a snug armchair where the warm red can anchor the scheme.
